Completed in 2022, this 3,729-square-foot chapel was developed as a dedicated spiritual and gathering space for St. Thomas More Catholic High School in Lafayette.
Positioned prominently at the front of campus, the standalone facility was designed to support worship services, campus ministry functions, and student gatherings in a focused, highly functional environment. The chapel accommodates approximately 250 occupants and includes worship space, ministry offices, support areas, and a direct connection to an adjacent outdoor prayer garden.
Structural coordination focused on creating a high-volume sanctuary space while integrating architectural woodwork, natural lighting, and durable building systems that are consistent with the surrounding campus environment. The project also required careful site integration to establish the chapel as both a campus landmark and a central part of daily student life.
The completed facility provides a dedicated spiritual environment designed to support worship, reflection, and long-term campus growth.
