GRAMBLING STATE UNIVERSITY
Completed in 2024, this 50,000-square-foot facility was developed as the new digital library and collaborative learning center for Grambling State University.
The building combines study areas, collaborative workspaces, maker spaces, archives, and event areas within a flexible, technology-focused academic environment. Structural coordination focused on creating large open floor plans capable of supporting evolving technology infrastructure, high student occupancy, and long-term adaptability.
The project also required extensive coordination between structural, architectural, mechanical, and technology systems to support large-scale data infrastructure, climate-controlled archive spaces, specialized ventilation systems, and flexible utility distribution throughout the facility.
Exterior systems and building envelope coordination played an important role in moisture protection, energy performance, and long-term durability while protecting sensitive technology and archival materials.
The completed facility provides a modern learning environment designed to support collaboration, digital education, research, and future campus growth.
