Magnolia Estates Rehabilitation and Retirement Expansion
MAGNOLIA ESTATES
This project involved a major expansion of the Magnolia Estates rehabilitation and retirement campus in Lafayette, increasing capacity for both long-term care and post-acute rehabilitation services.
The expansion added approximately 28,000 square feet of new space, including private patient rooms, rehabilitation areas, dining facilities, and specialized respiratory care wings. Structural systems combined wood framing and structural steel construction to support patient care spaces, therapy areas, and covered exterior gathering spaces within an active healthcare environment.
Careful coordination between new construction and existing operations allowed the facility to remain operational throughout construction while integrating new patient amenities and connecting spaces between buildings.
The completed facility provides a modern rehabilitation and healthcare environment designed to support patient recovery, long-term care, and continued campus growth.
