This 20,000-square-foot activity center was developed to support the growing community and outreach programs of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Prairieville.
Designed as a flexible multi-use facility, the building accommodates recreational activities, performances, banquets, religious education, and large parish gatherings within a single open-span environment. The clear-span structural steel system enabled large, unobstructed interior spaces while meeting the acoustic and operational requirements of both athletic and event functions.
The facility also includes meeting rooms, storage areas, and a commercial kitchen designed to support daily parish operations, community events, and high-volume gatherings. Structural coordination focused on flexibility, durability, and long-term functionality within a high-use community environment.
The completed center provides a modern gathering space designed to support fellowship, education, recreation, and long-term parish growth.
