This 38,000-square-foot athletic facility was developed to support student athletics, school events, and daily campus activity at Zachary High School.
The building includes a competition gym, practice gym, locker rooms, classrooms, concession areas, and public gathering spaces designed to accommodate both large events and day-to-day use. The structural system used pre-engineered roof trusses supported by load-bearing metal-stud walls, with custom long-span steel trusses incorporated to create the large open spaces required for the gymnasium areas.
Structural coordination focused on supporting durability, efficient construction, and the flexibility needed within a high-occupancy athletic environment.
The completed facility provides a modern athletic venue designed to support student programs, school functions, and long-term campus use.
