ST. JUDE THE APOSTLE CHURCH
This project involved the renovation and modernization of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, transforming the existing sanctuary into a brighter, more functional worship environment while preserving the character of the original structure.
The renovation incorporated exposed wood trusses, glulam beams, and laminated timber roof decking to create larger open spans, improved sightlines, and a warmer architectural environment throughout the sanctuary. Structural coordination focused on integrating new timber framing systems within the existing building while accommodating updated lighting, acoustics, and interior reconfiguration.
Additional improvements included enhanced natural lighting, upgraded liturgical spaces, and acoustic treatments designed to improve both spoken word and musical performance in the sanctuary.
The completed renovation provides a modernized worship space designed to support congregation gathering, long-term functionality, and continued parish use.
