South Louisiana Community College - Health and Sciences Building

This 65,000-square-foot educational facility was developed to support South Louisiana Community College’s growing nursing, health sciences, and academic programs in Lafayette.

The three-story building includes classrooms, laboratories, computer labs, conference rooms, administrative areas, and a virtual hospital environment designed to support hands-on medical training and simulation-based learning. The structural steel-framed facility was constructed on deep foundations and required coordination between specialized educational spaces, flexible floor layouts, and modern building systems.

Designed to accommodate future program growth and evolving healthcare education needs, the completed facility provides a modern learning environment focused on instruction, collaboration, and real-world training.
