ST. JOSEPH'S ACADEMY
This 26,000-square-foot arts facility was developed to support St. Joseph’s Academy’s expanding visual and performing arts programs while integrating with the historic character of the existing campus.
The two-story steel-framed building includes performance, instructional, rehearsal, and studio spaces designed to accommodate a wide range of artistic and educational functions. Specialized areas include a black box theater, music and choral suites, visual and digital arts classrooms, and a dedicated dance studio, each of which requires careful coordination among structural systems, acoustics, lighting, and interior functionality.
Supported on drilled-shaft foundations, the facility was designed to meet the structural and acoustic demands of performance spaces while maintaining compatibility with the surrounding campus architecture and circulation systems.
The completed center provides a modern arts environment designed to support creativity, instruction, collaboration, and long-term campus growth.
