This 40,000-square-foot performing arts facility was designed to support Zachary High School’s visual arts, music, and theater programs by providing dedicated instructional and performance spaces.
The building includes a 500-seat performing arts theater with a full fly tower, black box theater, band and choir rehearsal rooms, art classrooms, practice rooms, libraries, and support spaces designed to accommodate both daily instruction and large public performances. Structural coordination was essential to support large-span theater spaces, acoustic separation between rehearsal and performance areas, and the specialized infrastructure required for stage lighting, rigging, and sound systems.
The facility’s steel-framed structure and high-volume performance spaces required careful integration between structural systems, acoustics, and architectural design to support durability, flexibility, and long-term campus use.
The completed building provides a modern performing arts environment designed to support education, collaboration, and student performance programs for years to come.
