This 40,000-square-foot veterinary facility was developed as part of the continued expansion and modernization of LSU’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Baton Rouge.
The two-story building serves as the hospital's primary entrance and outpatient services center, housing clinical care areas, specialized treatment spaces, instructional facilities, and faculty offices within a modern healthcare and academic environment. The project also includes a large green roof terrace designed to support both functionality and campus integration.
Because the facility was constructed within an active veterinary medical campus, extensive coordination was required between new clinical spaces, existing hospital operations, specialized medical equipment, and long-term campus planning. Structural systems were designed to support flexible healthcare use, efficient circulation, and the operational demands of both patient care and veterinary education.
The completed facility provides a modern environment designed to support veterinary medicine, clinical training, and future program growth.
