This 42,000-square-foot training facility was developed to support LSU Gymnastics with dedicated practice, training, and team support spaces designed for high-level athletic performance.
The steel-framed facility includes an 18,000-square-foot open practice gym, designed with long-span steel joists to create the large, unobstructed training areas required for gymnastics operations. The building also includes locker rooms, team gathering spaces, video review areas, and a rooftop terrace designed to support both athletic preparation and day-to-day team functions.
Structural coordination focused on accommodating large open-span spaces, specialized athletic use, and integrated support areas while maintaining long-term durability and operational flexibility within a high-performance training environment.
