This project involved the expansion of the Leon Moncla Indoor Athletic Practice Facility to create a centralized performance and training hub for University of Louisiana athletics.
The 67,000-square-foot addition includes football locker rooms, strength and conditioning areas, athletic training facilities, coach and administrative offices, equipment operations, and an approximately 8,000-square-foot visitor locker room. The project required careful coordination between large open training spaces, specialized athletic functions, and the existing practice facility structure.
Structural design focused on supporting high-use athletic environments, operational efficiency, and long-term flexibility across multiple program areas within the athletics department.
The completed facility provides a modern performance center designed to support athlete development, team operations, and day-to-day athletic program needs.
