Originally constructed in the 1950s, the Commerce Building was renovated, transforming an existing eight-story steel-framed office building into a mixed-use development with residential, retail, parking, and hospitality spaces.
Repurposing the structure for multiple occupancies required significant coordination within the existing building framework, including modifications to support parking levels, rooftop amenities, and new public-use spaces. The project also involved extensive structural reconfiguration at the roof level to accommodate a restaurant, pool, and outdoor terraces while working within the constraints of the original structure.
The completed renovation preserved the character of a historic downtown building while adapting it for modern mixed-use functionality and long-term use.
