Destiny of Faith Church in Lafayette

This 40,000-square-foot worship and community facility was developed to support large-scale ministry, education, and family programming for Destiny of Faith Church in Lafayette.

The facility utilizes a long-span structural steel framing system designed to create large open assembly spaces without interior columns, allowing flexibility for worship services, community events, and youth activities. The campus includes a 750-seat auditorium, children’s ministry spaces, classrooms, administrative offices, hospitality areas, and a large indoor playground designed to support high occupancy on both weekdays and weekends.

Structural coordination focused on accommodating integrated lighting and media systems, acoustics, large-span gathering areas, and the operational demands of multiple active program spaces within a single facility. The project also included civil and infrastructure coordination for parking, drainage, stormwater retention, and site circulation to support the campus's scale and long-term site performance.

Mechanical systems were designed to efficiently manage varying occupancy demands between weekday operations and large weekend gatherings while supporting comfort and energy efficiency throughout the facility.

The completed campus provides a modern worship and community environment designed to support ministry operations, family programming, and long-term congregational growth.
