Site/Civil Engineering Project Manager

Fox-Nesbit Engineering is seeking qualified candidates to expand our site/civil engineering department. The selected candidate will work full time in our office in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, or Lafayette, LA and will oversee a broad array of commercial site and land development projects. He/she will be the lead design engineer on site/civil engineering projects and will be responsible for managing a project team to ensure the timely and efficient production of high quality construction documents. Candidate will collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams in order to meet client expectations and produce successful projects, seeing the project through from conceptual design through the completion of construction. 

The ideal candidate should be a registered Professional Civil Engineer with at least 6 to 8+ years of progressive experience with site/land development projects, including project management duties.  Candidate shall possess an in-depth understanding of and the ability to apply relevant design concepts, including site planning; hydrologic and hydraulic principles; site grading and earthwork modeling; storm drainage and detention design; design of sanitary sewer and utility systems; pavement design; interpretation and application of governing ordinances. Must possess familiarity or proficiency with relevant software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis programs, Microsoft Word and Excel. 

Structural Engineering Project Manager

Fox-Nesbit Engineering is seeking qualified candidates to expand our structural engineering department. The selected candidate will work full time in our office in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, or Lafayette, LA.  He/She will be the lead design engineer on structural engineering projects and will be responsible for managing a team to produce high quality construction documents.

The ideal candidate should be a registered Professional Civil Engineer with at least (8) years of progressive experience in completing structural engineering work with at least five (5) years of experience in designing building systems. Must possess familiarity with Revit or equivalent BIM software. Job duties include the structural design of a vast array of building systems. Experience in working with all common building materials is a must. Will be responsible for day-to-day management of assigned projects, including all communication with client, adherence to project schedule, and communication with project team members.
