PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Mr. Deville has an extensive background in structural detailing and design. He worked with Dr. Dean C. McKee, Ph. D., P.E. of Mckee and Deville Consulting Engineers, Inc. from 1990 to 2007. He was responsible for the layout, detailing and coordination of many steel and concrete structures over the years in the Baton Rouge and surrounding areas for Dr. Mckee. Working on complex structures such as the Shaw Center for the Arts, the Planetarium, and the Fairgrounds Racetrack in New Orleans has given him the knowledge and understanding of structures and procedures required to complete construction documents. Ryan was also responsible for shop drawing reviews and field inspections for various buildings and parking garages. Mr. Deville is also knowledgeable in the production of plans using metric units, drawing and detailing such buildings as the Aruba Westin Aruba Ocean Villas in Aruba, N.A. and the Riffort Renaissance Resort in Curacao N.A.
Prior to joining McKee and Deville, he worked for John L. Lowery and Associates from 1986 to 1990. As a contract employee to Exxon Refinery, he was responsible for locating and mapping out pipes in and around the refinery. He also worked in the Inspection Department, drawings tank and vessel floors for x-ray inspections.
Mr. Deville is a proficient draftsman. He has used AutoCAD for the past 23 years, utilizing every release version of the software since its inception. He has a great reputation for working with architects and other consultants to produce high quality drawings on schedule.
